In March of 2020, the government of Guatemala established an official sign language

for the country. Public interest in learning Guatemalan Sign Language (LSG)

has been steadily increasing. GDM began giving community classes two years ago and they will continue again this year with classes online. It has been wonderful to see policemen,

medical professionals, teachers, and lawyers learning LSG.
