WHAT WE DO
WHO WE ARE
Our school , is a center for educational reinforcement with 7 levels and 50 stduents that attend each week.
Church services are held at the ministry center every Sunday morning, along with a Sunday School class for the children. Messages are taught by our Deaf Pastor Jonathan or our director Greg.
Every other Saturday 50-80 people come for fellowship and a meal followed by a time of teaching from the Bible. This is a great opportunity for fellowship within the deaf community.
Vocational classes are offered to students 12 years old and older. Both the girls and boys are receiving training that will carry them into their adult years.
Several deaf adults are attending a class on Fridays, each with a different level of language.
The government of Guatemala recently recognized and established an official sign language for the country. This has sparked a huge interest in learning LSG (Lengua de Señas de Guatemala) within the hearing community.
